1. Mark drill holes

The distance between the ceiling mounts should be 50 cm. Of course, you can also adjust the distance to your needs.

Mark the drill holes on the ceiling. To do this, hold the ceiling mounts at the desired positions and mark the drill holes with a pencil.

2. Drill holes

Drill 70-75 mm deep holes at the marked points using a masonry drill bit (12 mm). Concrete ceilings are usually very solid, pre-drilling with a smaller drill bit (8 mm) is often helpful.

 

Then check whether the drill holes are deep enough. Test with an assembled heavy-duty anchor whether it can be inserted smoothly into the hole. The sleeve of the anchor should be flush with the surface of the ceiling.

Attention: Do not tighten the screw during the test, otherwise the heavy-duty anchor cannot be removed. The final assembly follows in connection with the ceiling hooks!

Use a masonry drill (12 mm) to drill holes 65-75 mm deep at the marked points. Concrete ceilings are usually very solid, pre-drilling with a smaller drill bit (8 mm) is often helpful.

3. Assemble ceiling mounts and expansion anchors together

Connect the enclosed expansion anchors to the ceiling hooks. Screw the screws hand-tight into the counterparts. Make sure that the narrow end of the counterpart faces the sleeve. Also check that the crevices on the sleeve are facing the counterpart.

4. Insert expansion anchor into the ceiling

Insert all expansion anchors evenly with the connected ceiling hook into the drill holes. Drive the anchors into the holes with light hammer blows until the ceiling mounts rests on the ceiling.

5. Tighten screws

Tighten the screws with a screwdriver so that the anchor bolts spread.
